Acne No MoreMany people are curious as to what causes cystic acne, also know as nodular acne.  This is one of the severest forms of acne are sufferers tend to have large, painful cysts that develop just beneath the surface of the skin.  Obviously, finding out what causes cystic acne and what you can do to prevent ranks pretty high with someone suffering from this problem.

So what causes cystic acne?  Does it have anything to do with your face, your skin, the oils on your face, or even bacteria?  Technically speaking, sure it does.  When a pore gets clogged by excess oils and/or dead skin, it begins trapping bacteria which leads to breakouts.

However, acne doesn’t begin at your skin.  It is a problem that develops far deeper inside of the body.  Acne is just your body’s way of telling you that something inside is unbalanced; that there is a serious problem you need to address.  If you got rid of this unbalance in your body and got rid of any problems, your acne would disappear all by itself.  You could finally stop wasting your money on useless creams that don’t work.

So what causes cystic acne?  In a word, it’s your diet.  Now I’m not talking about chocolate bars here.  I mean some things that we eat everyday and even something that we think are healthy for us really aren’t.  It’s these foods that are causing our acne breakouts and for some people, these are the causes of cystic acne.  These foods are such things as all dairy, red meats, hydrogenated oils (margarine, vegetable oil), white sugar, white flour and white rice, and most processed foods.

Dairy products are bad for us for two reasons.  First of all, humans were simply not made to digest any sort of cow’s milk.  Cow’s milk was made to take a baby calf and help it grow into near full size in a matter of weeks.  We obviously grow much more slowly than that.  Secondly, milk cows are injected with all sorts of hormones to keep them producing milk all year round.  These hormones get into our system and disrupt our bodies natural processes.

Processed sugar is sugar cane that has been stripped of everything.  It is essentially a completely unrecognizable foreign substance to the body.  It also actually leeches vitamins and minerals from your body.  When we consume processed sugar, the body’s balance is again upset as it produces more hormones in an attempt to process this unrecognized substance.

Red meat also causes cystic acne because again the cows are pumped full of hormones and antibiotics to keep them healthy.  It also takes an extremely long time for our bodies to expel it, so it can begin to rot while being digested.  This allows toxins to leak into our bodies and upsets our inner balance.

White flour and white rice are essentially just sugar when consumed by us.  On top of having the same effects that sugar has on us, ie our body has to produce more insulin to digest them which in turn produces more hormones to deal with the insulin, they also clog up our digestive tract and allow toxins to build up in our systems.

Hydrogenated oils are causes of cystic acne because they clog up our cleansing organs, such as our liver or small intestine, and don’t allow them to clear away toxins or regulate hormones.  This has the effect of causing more breakouts and hurting your inner balance.
