Get Rid Of My Acne
People all over the world are saying to themselves, “How the heck do I get rid of my acne?” This is unfortunate because we see so many products on the market that we think one of them has to work, doesn’t it?
Well to be brutally honest, no! I found these products could do nothing to get rid of my acne.
All of the products we see on TV all share on problem: they try to treat your acne like it’s a skin problem. I know that seems pretty counter-intuitive, but the simple truth is that acne isn’t a skin problem at all. Acne starts inside of our bodies and is the result of hormonal imbalances. Once I learned this it was very easy to get rid of my acne.

Well as most people know, the cause of acne in most teenagers is due to the effects of puberty; the increased hormone production during this time cause our oil glands to produce to much oil, which clogs pores and traps bacteria in them, causing breakouts. This is also very similar to what happens to women who are either pregnant or menstruating. Adults who are suffering from acne might be wondering, “Well, what the heck is causing my hormones to go all haywire?”
What you don’t know is that your diet is playing a direct role in your acne. This was the biggest secret I learned to get rid of my acne. This holds not only true for adults who have acne, but it’s also true for anyone who has acne. If you change your diet and cut out the biggest instigators of this hormone production, you can stop your acne cold. You’ll never have to put something on your face again. Heck, I don’t even moisturize my face anymore, it works that well.
So what are some of the biggest instigators? What did I cut out to get rid of my acne? It’s pretty simple really but some of them might surprise you.
Milk and all dairy, for instance, is one of the biggest acne aggravators simply because as humans, we are unable to fully and properly process cow’s milk in our bodies. We were simply not made to consume it and our body rejects it. On top of this, dairy products are loaded with hormones because the cows are injected with them to keep them producing milk all year round. Cutting out dairy will have a massive effect on your skin.
White sugar shouldn’t be that much of a surprise. No, I’m not saying a chocolate bar will directly cause a breakout. It’s much more deeper than that. White sugar is a substance that the body doesn’t even recognize and will strip your body of required vitamins and minerals, causes allergies (in the form of acne) and causes your body to overproduce hormones in an effort to process and break it down. These hormones are what cause your oil glands to begin producing to much oil in the first place.
Red meat is also another large aggravator. This is for some of the same reasons that milk is bad for you; the sheer amount of hormones and antibiotics injected into animals. Not only that, but red meat takes a very long time to pass through our GI tract, allowing the meat to rot and to also pass toxins out to our bloodstream as we try to digest it.
If you’re anything like me, you love milk and you like a good steak. Don’t fret, though. Organic, grass fed cows aren’t to bad and won’t upset your system as much. As far as milk, there are great alternatives such as nut milks or even goat or sheep milk. These are much healthier and more beneficial for your skin.
