Mr. X Acne is another ebook on an already saturated market. However he writes some very quality material and I think it is a worthwhile look at if you have mild to maybe moderate acne.

Mr. X launches right into the cause of acne; he claims it is due to inflammation in our body that is going out of control. There is some truth to this as many conditions, such as heart problems, diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease have all been categorized as inflammatory diseases. Some have even categorized acne as an inflammatory condition. Acne itself is a bit more complicated and can’t be explained away by one simple cause, however it’s refreshing to see someone cite a cause that doesn’t say anything about bacteria, dead skin or to much sebum on your face.

The Mr X. Acne book itself is well laid out and easy to understand, for the most part. There is one or two parts that get a little confusing as he uses a lot of medical and biochemical terminology but that doesn’t detract from the overall effect of the book. It’s very concise and it’s a very well laid out step by step guide. The program itself is pretty easy to follow. He goes on to explain that you need to make some dietary changes and avoid the typical worst foods that exist in a western diet. He lovingly refers to them as “disaster foods” which I think is a very apt name!

These changes really aren’t that hard and you can begin implementing them right away. The other half of the program focuses on supplements that we should be taking to help balance our bodies and give them what they need. For anyone not prepared to go through more lifestyle changes to clear their acne, this is a good alternative. The supplements all combine to help promote health in your body and they’re not to expensive. They should run you about $35-$50 a month and there is an optional supplement that will cost about $20-$30 a month. It’s nice he doesn’t just throw in a bunch of different supplements; he has some good data to back his claims as to why the one’s he chooses are right. Seeing as how most people are paying this much for creams that don’t work, it’s definitely a good trade to try something else that’s healthier and will work better.

The only problem with the Mr. X Acne book is that it might work for you, especially so if you have more severe forms of acne. The supplement route also is only treating the acne symptoms again while ignoring the root causes. The changes to your diet combined with the supplements may not work totally to get rid of all of your acne.

The bottoms line is this is a great guide and I highly recommend it to anyone who has light forms of acne and aren’t prepared to make the lifestyle changes necessary to clear their skin. Many people have gotten clear with the Mr. X Acne book by letting the supplements do the work for them. It’s simple, easy and won’t break the bank.
